ABOUT ERNESTO PORTILLO AMAYA

Ever since I was kid, I wanted a job where I could help people. After deciding that fire fighters live a little too dangerously, I tried to think how else I could help people. Then it hit me. Games have given me so much joy in my life, and I wanted to help spread that love for other people. My goal in life is to make a game that helps people, whether it makes them think about their life choices, helps them process some trauma, or just gives them a couple of hours of a good time.

So now, I'm working on getting my Bachelor's degree in Game Design, with a minor in Psychology. I am dedicated to making sure the player has a good and enjoyable experience playing anything I had a hand in. Only 1 year left to go until I earn my degree, and I've got no plans of stopping now.

P.S. - If you see "It's A Jacket Inc." or "IAJI" anywhere, that's the name of a fake company that I liked and stuck with. Anything under that name is just me.

"Our job as the game creators or developers - the programmers, artists, and whatnot - is that we have to kind of put ourselves in the user's shoes. We try to see what they're seeing, and then make it, and support what we think they might think."
